Condominium Tuban

Tuban, Bali, Indonesia

The project is located on a very tight urban site in the centre of Tuban (south Kuta) and comprises a mixture of studio, 1 and 2 bed apartments which are to be sold on a variant of the time share model.

Planning law allows a development of 5 stories which allows views over the surrounding mostly lower rise ‘sprawl’ which characterizes the urban fabric of the area. Sizes of apartments are limited and designs are subject to (operating) rules/guidelines set down by international standards that allow owners to swap their fractional ownership allowances with others around the world.

Owing to its tight site the common spaces of the buildings have been conceived as internal landscapes featuring extensive planting and water features, and intended to celebrate movement through them by creating a series of dramatic internal spaces which culminate at a roof top pool and bar area with views of the sunset over the famed Kuta beach.
