An existing 4 bedroom house in a “Colonial” style on an extensive site was purchased by our clients who sought to extend it into a boutique hotel by the addition of 7 small, independent villas with plunge pools, restaurant and spa. The design by Gfab occupies the steeply sloping hillside under the original villa and the 2 properties are unseen from one another whilst operating as one. Local materials are used throughout and the villas are set on varying levels and part dug into the hill itself, whilst overlooking a small valley with sunset views beyond.
